Terms and Conditions

Our Terms and Conditions are based on the products we supply to you. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide Products to you, how you and we may change or end the Contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. Accepting orders, contracts and order number 

Once you’ve placed an order, you’ll receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received the order.  Please note that this does not mean that the order has been successfully accepted. Your order is regarded as an offer to us to buy a product. This is then subject to availability and acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that the Product has been dispatched (the "Dispatch Confirmation"). 

A contract between us (“Contract”) will only be formed at the point of dispatch confirmation, which is sent to you in writing via email once we've accepted your order. From there, we will assign you an individual order number and inform you of it on our 'order confirmation' email. If you need to contact us, you are required to provide us with your order number to enable us to respond to your enquiry in a timely and efficient manner. Orders will only be processed if the payment has been received in full, in accordance with the provisions of Clause 7.

Making changes to an order 

All potential changes to an order are subject to the garment in question. For more information on whether the change is possible, please contact us via Shimmi with ORDER CHANGES as your subject title. 

Delivery 

All of our delivery costs are calculated at checkout.

After handing your order over to our chosen trusted shipping partners, Shimmi Dresses is not responsible for any delays outside of our as it is outside of our immediate control. 

In the unlikely event that our product supply is delayed by external circumstances outside of our control, we will update you via the information you have provided. Once we have done this, we are not liable for delays caused by the event.

Shimmi would like to assure you that you have legal rights should our delivery of your order be late if any of the following apply:

You are able to set a new deadline for delivery with us provided that it is reasonable. You maintain the right to terminate our contract should we be unable to meet the new deadline.

Price and payment 

The price payable for the Products shall be as shown on the Website. Prices advertised on the Website include UK VAT but excludes delivery charges. Delivery charges are shown separately when ordering and must also be paid in advance.

Payment shall be made by you by the means specified on the Website and shall not be deemed to be made until We have received cleared funds in respect of the full amount stated in the order.

Prices are subject to change without notice but changes will not affect orders which We have already accepted.

Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, We will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, We will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after We have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a miss-pricing.

Payment for all Products must be by credit or debit card. We accept payment with VISA, VISA DEBIT, MASTERCARD, SOLO, MAESTRO and ELECTRON.7.7 All prices advertised are subject to such changes.

Refunds 

Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt, unworn and undamaged with all tags. Shimmi has the right to refuse if these conditions are not met. 

If you received any promotional or other discounts when you paid, any refund will only reflect the amount you actually paid. For extra details on refunds, please refer to our Returns Policy.

Please note: all sale items, abaya sets and hijabs and veils cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Discount code terms and conditions 

Shimmi Dresses Discount Codes entitle you to an extra percentage (specific to the Discount Code in question) off your next online order from www.Shimmidresses.co.uk. To claim your discount, when in the 'My Bag' section of your account there is an option to “Apply Coupon”, which allows you to enter the promotional code in order to apply it to the order.

Discount Codes can only be used once per customer, cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, remain our property and are not transferable. Only one promotion code can be used per order. There is no cash alternative. Discount codes exclude sale and delivery charges.
